Specifying an envelope order

Envelopes carry no fixed shop price because two orders for the same quantity can differ substantially depending on the paper and the finished size. Sending the full specification in one message is what lets us come back with a firm figure quickly, and quote requests are answered within one business day.

Include these four things:

• The paper stock or weight
• The quantity for this order, and whether you expect to reorder it
• Whether the printing is on one side or both

Cards, tags and notebooks

Thank you cards suit online shops and workshops, because they go out with every parcel and run down at the same rate as your orders. Label tags do the same job on the product itself, for price tags, size tags and care instructions attached to stock. Keeping a reorder consistent

Stationery is judged against the copy that came before it, so the practical concern is repeatability rather than novelty. Two things help. Keep one master artwork file per item, and send that same file each time rather than a re-export, so the trim and the color build do not drift between runs. Second, record the specification you approved, including the size, the stock and the quantity, and quote it back on the next order.

Printman does not offer in-house graphic design services, so the master file stays with your own designer. We review whatever you send for print suitability before it goes to press.

Preparing your artwork

We accept PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, JPEG and PNG. Set the file in CMYK color mode, keep placed images at 300 DPI or higher, include bleed and trim marks where the design runs to the edge, and embed or outline all fonts so nothing substitutes on our end. A logo copied from a website is usually too low in resolution to hold at print size, so ask your designer for the original vector file.

Turnaround and delivery for printed envelopes and stationery in Amman

Most orders are ready within 1 to 3 business days for collection. Delivery time is added on top of that, not included in it. Standard delivery is JOD 3 and arrives within 48 hours anywhere in Jordan, same-day delivery is JOD 4 within Amman, and same-day delivery to other governorates is JOD 6. Yes, if you send the same artwork file and the same specification. Keep a record of the size, stock and quantity you approved and quote it back on the next order.

How long will an order take, and can I get it the same day?
